Radio Okeko Episode 9B & 9C… Possibly The Worst and Best Of Me

These are part 27 & 28 of the 55 parts I recorded for the first Season of Okeko Radio, and published as the first newsletter for paid subscribers only. Exciting! I have to figure out how to do this pay-wall-thing on Substack, and I’m not totally on-board with it, but for now it will enable me to keep publishing all parts in the right sequence, and even stuff that’s not suitable for public ears.
Yes, it’s ‘just’ for the record. And of course to stay loyal to my resolution to indeed post all work, I’m breaking a pattern of work work work but not sending it off, and keeping it all safe and hidden somewhere on a laptop.
What I don’t like about my resolution is that I’m publishing stuff that’s no longer interesting to/for me. I moved on of course. What I like about it is that I listen to what I say two months after recording. Recording and publishing are two very different modes of expression, and I’m sometimes rebelling with one against the other because of inspiration, but see I don’t publish anything when I keep hopping.
So… I chose for finding a resolution and OK, once in a while I give free rein on a flow of inspiration and cheat a bit by writing responses to other stacks, and responses to my own episodes to write the so-called episode-notes for the Substack-Newsletter and other Podcast-platforms. Boring stuff for readers and listeners, but yes, this is how it works for me. Happy Bunny!
To compensate for the free subs, I publish a poem and ‘Okeko Art of Spirits Out of the Woods’ before I place the pay-wall… Cheers!
