to Heal and Raise Consciousness

Okeko is the joining of two OKE’s in a palindrome. I’m originally from the Netherlands, and Dutch for OK = OKE, that’s why ;) Okeko gathers people who are OK or intend to be OK ☺ to Learn, Share, Learn to Share, Share to Learn or have their Presence Appreciated.

The name Okeko came to me in 2005, and here on Substack, Okeko is ‘Under Construction’ which means flowing in a creative process with high and low tides, shifting gears in the processes of writing, drawing, photo-shooting, pod-casting, filming, editing, updating; keeping up with the stream of ideas and imaginations, listening to the whispers of intuition, having fun sharing, and of course making a section where I will introduce ‘me’, you know, that word signifying the same informed biosphere we all share, and that you also call ‘me’, and has been taught how to use a laptop to give it a go… creating an artist/writer identity in the meantime, but only when I draw & write, mind you. The rest of the hours I’m Me, living in a carry-water-chop-wood kind of way, walking with Gem, my dearest canine friend (and shhh… a real Spanish campo queen) in the Scottish hills, woods, along streams or on beaches finding pebble treasures, that is, if they want to be found.
